At Last!

They finally made it official! Kristyn and Courtney, having met nearly 10 years ago in high school, tied the knot on November 10 an exquisitely beautiful fall day. The ladies gathered at Kristyn's home to prepare for the big day, and were swept away to the church in a Hummer limo. Soon afterwards, the gentlemen pulled up to the church in a Dodge Charger stretch limo as the guests were streaming in. The spirited ceremony was filled with song and inspirational words from the pastor. After the ceremony concluded and thanks to Daylight Saving Time, we were forced to photograph all of the portraits inside the church which is a big switch from what we are accustomed to and what the studio is known for. Always ready for a challenge, we ended up being thrilled with the results! We dashed off to the Sheraton Four Points to dig into the reception, where a slideshow of snapshots of Kristyn and Courtney as each was growing up was running throughout the duration of the cocktail hour and dinner. Highlights also included the couple enjoying a serenade as they cut their cake and the tossing of 2 garters!

We've provided a visual sampling of the day's events. (Please allow a few minutes for the movie to load to your computer. You must have Quicktime to view the slideshow. To download the software visit the Quicktime homepage. )

Make sure to register at collages.net, with the username "Blackmon" to be notified of when the rest of the day's images are ready for viewing (the password will be available from the bride and groom). Enjoy!
